VAAAM & Mapping Asian American Art (Ongoing)

In this mapping project, I am working with researchers from the Asian/Pacific/American Institute at NYU to independently design and develop an interactive digital map illustrating the movements of Asian American artists throughout five cities including Chicago and New York. The researchers and curators wanted a map that would connect timeline information with geographical information, so I created this custom map using Leaflet.js. The result from this project has been shown at the Mori Museum in Tokyo in June 2022.

In addition, as guest curator and designer for Virtual Asian American Art Museum (VAAAM), I've improved the design of the website, and increased interactivity of the exhibition content.
